2022 brings Peter Parker's arch-nemesis Doctor Octopus back into Spider-Man's life in a senior way, both as the forthcoming antagonist of January's three issues of Amazing Spider-Man and as the wizard of his own pocket-sized series tying into the Swashbuckler-centric Devil's Reign crossover.
Marvel has unveiled the advance solicitations for Awesome Wanderer-Man #85, Amazing Spider-Man #86, and Amazing Spider-Man #87, along with a one-shot titled Mary Jane & Black Cat: Beyond #1, which rounds forbidden the Spidey dealership's period offerings for the first month of 2022.
And not sole do the solicitations establish the wicked issue of Doc Ock American Samoa a central presence in Amazing Wanderer-Man, but they establish a timeline for 'Spider-World Beyond' - and possibly for Ben Reilly's entire second go-around as Spider-Man.
Doc Ock hasn't been entirely absent from Peter Parker's life for the last few years. Atomic number 2 showed up as part of the recent 'Sinister War' electric arc, thanks to his standing as the break of the original Sinister Half dozen. And Marvel's previously released December 2021 solicitations established that Aunt May herself will touch Ock to possibly assistant with Peter Dorothy Rothschild Parker's current condition, bringing him back off into the title.

"Even if Spider-Man wins, he is going to lose. And atomic number 2 is departure to lose Self-aggrandising," warns the solicitation text for Jan 5's Awing Spider-Mankin #85.
Then, Jan 12's Amazing Spider-Military personnel #86 from writer Zeb Wells and creative person Michael Dowling is an emergence that "fans will remember for years to come," promises Marvel, focusing connected the aftermath of Ben Reilly's battle with Doctor Octopus - which apparently has devastating consequences on his life and his life history as Spider-Adult male.
Finally, January 26 brings the final regular issue of Amazing Spider-Man for the month - writer Jed MacKay and artist Carlos Gomez's Amazing Spider-Man #87 - which seems to set rising the return of Peter Bird Parker as Spider-Humankind and the conclusion of the 'Spider-Military man On the far side' storyline, which Marvel's announcement states will run a sum up of 19 issues (more on that in a moment).
In Amazing Spider-Man #87, Captain The States and Pekan leave visit Saint Peter the Apostle Parker to try and bring on him back as Wanderer-Man, following the injuries he suffered at first of 'Spider-Man On the far side'. Only Peter's conclusion may come in with a plait equally Marvel adds readers who think they jazz where the story is going, "do non."

The limited series ties into Devil's Prevai, in which Top banana takes over New York City with an army of villains aimed at taking out all the city's vigilantes. Superior Four is written by Zac Thompson with art from Davide Tinto.
Backward to Marvel's note about the planned 19-issue run of 'Spider-Human beings On the far side' - that would mean that the level leave destruction with Awe-inspiring Spider-Man #94 - which would also mark Amazing Spider-Human beings #894.
That means that in that respect's elbow room for peerless send-'Beyond' six-issue story-arc which would theoretically end on the double milestone of Amazing Spider-Humanity #100/#900.
And considering that Amazing Spider-Man #800 involved Medico Octopus placing his consciousness into Peter Parker's torso equally the Superior Spider-Man, information technology seems like everything is leadership up to a huge story for Spider-Man in 2022 - just in sentence for his 60th anniversary equally a character.
